The October 2013 Newsletter has been released and it is a great resource for our guests getting ready to head south for the winter to Phoenix, Arizona.

The October newsletter contains information about when the fall and winter activities will return. BINGO starts back up on Thursday, October 17 at 6:45 p.m. and will take place every Thursday unless otherwise posted. Our popular 75 cent donuts will return starting this Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 a.m. and the coffee is always FREE in the office.

Some special events for this month include a trip planned for Monday, October 21.  A bus will take residents who want to go to the Fort McDowell Casino then to stay at a hotel overnight and return to Desert Shadows RV Resort on Tuesday, October 22. Sign up in advance in the Card Room or call Elaine at (623) 581-8331 for more information on the trip. There will also be a Halloween Dance coming up on Saturday, October 26. Local band American Kountry will play live music for all to enjoy and kids will be able to do some trick or treating right inside the park.
